Barathier Bitters represents four generations of Alpine distilling tradition. Crafted by Enrico Bernard in the Germanasca Valley of the Piedmontese Alps, this spirit honors the family's 1902 heritage of sourcing pristine mountain spring water from elevations of 5,000–8,500 feet.
Seven carefully selected botanicals—wild juniper berries, angelica, milfoil, and gentian root and flower—are hand-harvested at peak fragrance and dried naturally in mountain air. Each herb is infused separately in Italian neutral grain spirit for up to twelve months using only cold maceration, preserving the delicate character of every ingredient.
The result is a sophisticated bitters with a soft, slightly bitter and spicy profile. Serve after dinner to aid digestion, or mix with soda for a refreshing spritz. A testament to slow, intentional craftsmanship and the pure terroir of the Alps.
