Atanasio Reposado Tequila represents the art of traditional tequila craftsmanship. Rested for just three months in American white oak barrels, this small-batch expression preserves the pure agave character of the base spirit while gaining subtle oak complexity.
Every bottle reflects meticulous attention from field to finish. Agaves mature for 6–7 years to achieve ideal sugar concentration. At the distillery, Maestro Tequilero René Carranza oversees hand-sliced piñas cooked for 16 hours, single-mill extraction, and natural fermentation in open stainless steel vats. Slow distillation in copper stills follows tradition, with aging in medium-to-intense toasted American oak barrels calibrated to enhance rather than overshadow the tequila's origin.
Each bottle is individually hand-labeled and sealed, bearing Don Chico's handwritten signature, vintage year, and lot number—a mark of the craftsmanship and uniqueness within.
